The Do's & Don'ts, an Iowa 1950s to 1980s rock 'n' roll band based in Eastern Iowa are one of Iowa's longest-running and most celebrated live rock and roll bands. They perform live classic oldies: rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, & pop for audiences in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Marion, Coralville, Sutliff, Solon, Shueyville, Walford, and communities throughout Eastern Iowa.
Originally known as The Escorts, the band was founded in 1959 by Dick Sherman in Iowa City, Iowa. In 1997, they were inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n' Roll Music Association Hall of Fame — one of the first bands ever honored with that distinction. Their 1966 single I Wonder If She Loves Me was released on the Red Bird Record Label and remains a fan favorite to this day.
